General Description, Safety Concerns, or other notes:
In the fall the flatter sections of the trails have several washout areas and large loose boulders on the trail. Trails up Mt Caverly are all steep loose boulder trails.

Mt. Caverly is extremely steep in the winter. There are several winding steep turns where anything larger than a six dog team will not be able to stop. (typically thin windblown snow on top of solid rock ledge)

The rest of the trails are grassy, gravel, sand here and there, few rocks.

This can be a challenging trail if you are not familiar with it, and it is recommended that you explore minus your dogteam first before attempting to run a team there.
